This card could be beneficial in a red aggressive deck that aims to quickly deal damage to the opponent. However, the drawback of sacrificing a land when Goblin Firebug leaves the battlefield may not be worth the temporary advantage it provides. Cards like Goblin Guide or Monastery Swiftspear are better options for aggressive red decks as they provide consistent damage without the downside of losing a land. Overall, Goblin Firebug may not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its drawback.
