Gargantuan Gorilla, Creature — ape, designed by Greg Simanson first released in Jun, 1996 in the set Alliances and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This card could benefit a green ramp deck that focuses on generating a lot of mana quickly and has plenty of forests to spare for its ability. However, the high cost and potential drawback of sacrificing forests or taking damage make it a risky choice. There are likely better options for creature removal or win conditions in most decks, such as Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, which offers a powerful effect without the drawbacks of Gargantuan Gorilla. Overall, Gargantuan Gorilla may not see much play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its high cost and potential downside.
