About Form of the Dragon

Form of the Dragon, Enchantment, designed by Carl Critchlow first released in May, 2003 in the set Scourge and was printed exactly in 6 different ways.

A red control deck focused on burn and stalling tactics would benefit from including Form of the Dragon, as it provides a steady source of damage to control the board while also protecting you from ground-based creature attacks. However, there are potentially better options for a similar effect, such as Inferno Titan, which offers more flexibility and immediate impact on the board state. Form of the Dragon could see play in niche decks looking for a unique win condition, but its high mana cost and vulnerability to enchantment removal may limit its overall effectiveness in competitive play.

Rules

02/01/14

Unless some effect explicitly says otherwise, a creature that can’t attack you can still attack a planeswalker you control.

10/04/04

If you life total was above 5 at end of turn, then you lose life to make your total 5. If it was less than 5, you gain life to bring it to 5.
