A deck focused on Pirate tribal synergies in Magic: the Gathering would benefit from including Fathom Fleet Boarder, as it provides a solid body with a drawback that can be mitigated by having other Pirates in play. While there may be more powerful options available, such as Kitesail Freebooter or Dire Fleet Poisoner, Fathom Fleet Boarder can still be a valuable addition in the right deck, especially in a more budget-friendly or casual setting where its drawback can be easily managed.
