A deck that focuses on card advantage and card selection, such as a control or combo deck, would benefit from using Enhanced Awareness in Magic: the Gathering. While drawing three cards can provide valuable resources, the downside of having to discard a card can be mitigated by decks that can benefit from card selection and filling the graveyard. However, there are better cards like Ancestral Recall that offer a more powerful effect for the same cost, making Enhanced Awareness less likely to see play in competitive settings.
