Dread Charge, Sorcery, designed by Ted Naifeh first released in May, 2020 in the set Portal.
A black aggro or midrange deck would benefit from using Dread Charge as it enables black creatures to get through for damage efficiently. However, there are better cards like Filth that grants swampwalk to all creatures, regardless of color, or Archetype of Finality, which gives deathtouch to all creatures and takes away from opponents. Overall, Dread Charge may be situational and not a top choice for competitive play unless specifically built around.
