**Doran, Besieged by Time** would thrive in an Abzan (WBG) toughness-matters deck built around creatures whose toughness exceeds their power, since it both discounts those creatures and turns their defensive stats into explosive temporary buffs when they attack or block. The deck would want high-toughness, low-power creatures (e.g., walls, efficient defenders, or creatures like *Indomitable Ancients* or *Treefolk Harbinger*) and ways to attack safely, possibly alongside trample enablers to convert the temporary stat boosts into real pressure.
