A deck that focuses on swarming the field with Kuriboh monsters and tokens would benefit from using Detonate in order to clear their own field and then potentially disrupt the opponent's board. However, due to the cost of sacrificing your own resources, it may not be the most efficient option compared to other cards like Raigeki or Dark Hole which offer similar board-clearing effects without the need to sacrifice your own monsters. Detonate could see situational play in specific Kuriboh-themed decks for its thematic synergy, but in general, more versatile and powerful options are available for competitive play.
