Deadly Designs, Enchantment, designed by Jama Jurabaev first released in Aug, 2016 in the set Conspiracy: Take the Crown and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Deadly Designs could be beneficial in a control deck that aims to disrupt the opponent's board by removing key creatures. However, its reliance on plot counters and the potential for any player to activate its ability may make it less reliable compared to other removal options like Murder or Doom Blade, which offer more immediate and consistent creature removal. While Deadly Designs has a unique mechanic, its effectiveness and playability may be limited in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks.

If the player who controlled Deadly Designs as its last ability triggered doesn’t control it as that ability resolves, Deadly Designs won’t be sacrificed. The same is true if each of the ability’s targets are all illegal by the time the ability resolves. However, if it’s still on the battlefield and has five or more plot counters on it, its last ability will immediately trigger again.

You control the last ability of Deadly Designs, no matter who activated the ability to give it its fifth plot counter.
