Cosmic Horror, Creature — horror, designed by Jesper Myrfors first released in May, 2020 in the set Legends and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
A deck that focuses on controlling the board and generating a lot of mana would benefit from using Cosmic Horror, as it provides a powerful threat with first strike that can be difficult to deal with. However, the risk of self-damage and the high cost to keep it on the battlefield may make it less appealing compared to other options like Griselbrand, which offers a powerful draw engine and lifelink. Overall, Cosmic Horror could see play in certain niche strategies but may not be a top-tier choice in competitive decks.

If you choose not to pay Cosmic Horror’s upkeep cost, it deals 7 damage to you only if it’s actually destroyed. If it regenerates or an effect has given it indestructible, it deals no damage.
