Consuming Sinkhole would be a great addition to a red aggressive deck looking to disrupt the opponent's board state while applying pressure. However, for more efficient removal options, cards like Lightning Bolt or Roiling Vortex might be better choices due to their versatility and lower mana cost. Consuming Sinkhole could still see play in certain metagames where land creatures or direct damage are prevalent, but it may not be a staple in most competitive decks.
