About Cloak of Confusion

Cloak of Confusion, Enchantment — aura, designed by Margaret Organ-Kean first released in Jun, 1995 in the set Ice Age and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

This Cloak of Confusion card would be beneficial in a deck focused on disrupting the opponent's hand size and resources, such as a discard or control deck. However, there are potentially better cards that offer more impactful effects for a similar cost, such as Liliana's Caress or Waste Not, which provide additional benefits beyond just random discard. While Cloak of Confusion could see play in specific strategies, it may not be the most optimal choice compared to other options available.

Rules

04/15/13

An ability that triggers when something “attacks and isn’t blocked” triggers in the declare blockers step after blockers are declared if (1) that creature is attacking and (2) no creatures are declared to block it. It will trigger even if that creature was put onto the battlefield attacking rather than having been declared as an attacker in the declare attackers step.
