Cackling Flames, Instant, designed by Shishizaru first released in May, 2006 in the set Dissension and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A burn deck focused on dealing direct damage to the opponent would benefit from including Cackling Flames, especially in a deck that can consistently empty its hand to trigger the Hellbent ability for increased damage output. While Cackling Flames can be a strong inclusion in such a deck, there may be better options available depending on the specific strategy and format. Cards like Lightning Bolt or Lava Spike are more efficient in terms of mana cost and damage output, so Cackling Flames may not always be the optimal choice, but it could still see play in certain aggressive red decks looking for additional reach.
