This card could benefit a control deck looking to disrupt the opponent's board state by temporarily removing a key permanent. However, the high cost and potential risk of losing the Bronze Tablet make it a risky choice. There are likely better options available, such as cards that offer more reliable removal or card advantage without the ante mechanic, making Bronze Tablet less likely to see play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.

If the tablet is not still on the battlefield when the ability resolves, it is not exiled. The other player still has the choice to pay 10 life, and you still become the owner of their card if they choose not to do so.
