Spire Tracer is a solid choice for aggressive green decks that focus on evasion and getting damage through quickly, particularly in a format where flying or reach creatures are less common. It works well in decks that utilize a strategy of swarming the board with low-cost creatures and then applying pressure to the opponent. However, there are other cards that might be more effective, such as Skyhunter Skirmisher, which has flying and can also serve as an evasive threat. While Spire Tracer can be a useful addition, its effectiveness will depend on the overall metagame and the presence of blockers; if flying and reach creatures are prevalent, it may not see as much play.
