About Darksteel Juggernaut

Darksteel Juggernaut, Artifact creature — juggernaut, designed by Randis Albion first released in Oct, 2010 in the set Scars of Mirrodin and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.

A deck focused on artifact synergy, such as an artifact-heavy deck in a color combination like blue and red, would benefit from using Darksteel Juggernaut as it can become a massive threat with its power and toughness scaling with the number of artifacts you control. While there may be other powerful artifact creatures like Inkwell Leviathan or Blightsteel Colossus, Darksteel Juggernaut's indestructible ability and potential for growth make it a strong contender in the right deck and could see play in certain artifact-centric strategies.

Rules

01/01/11

If, during your declare attackers step, Darksteel Juggernaut is tapped, is affected by a spell or ability that says it can’t attack, or is affected by “summoning sickness,” then it doesn’t attack. If there’s a cost associated with having Darksteel Juggernaut attack, you aren’t forced to pay that cost, so it doesn’t have to attack in that case either.

01/01/11

Since Darksteel Juggernaut is itself an artifact, its power and toughness will always be at least 1 while it’s on the battlefield (unless a spell or ability somehow changes its card type).
