About Etherium Sculptor

Etherium Sculptor, Artifact creature — vedalken artificer, designed by Steven Belledin first released in Oct, 2008 in the set Shards of Alara and was printed exactly in 10 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's a key card in 8 combos.

This card would be a great addition to an artifact-heavy deck in Magic: The Gathering, especially one focused on quickly casting multiple artifacts. While Etherium Sculptor is a solid choice for reducing the cost of artifact spells, other cards like Foundry Inspector or Jhoira's Familiar offer similar benefits and may be more efficient in certain strategies. Whether Etherium Sculptor sees play ultimately depends on the specific deck and its overall game plan, but it can definitely be a valuable inclusion for the right build.

The only difference between a colored artifact and a colorless artifact is, obviously, its color. Unlike most artifacts, a colored artifact requires colored mana to cast. Also unlike most artifacts, a colored artifact has a color in all zones. It will interact with cards that care about color. Other than that, a colored artifact behaves just like any other artifact. It will interact as normal with any card that cares about artifacts, such as Shatter or Arcbound Ravager.

This effect can reduce only the generic portion of the artifact spell’s total cost.
