About Wheel of Potential

Wheel of Potential, Sorcery, designed by Drew Baker first released in May, 2024 in the set Modern Horizons 3 and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.

A deck focused on generating and utilizing energy counters, such as a Temur Energy deck in Standard or a Thopter Foundry deck in Modern, would benefit from Wheel of Potential as it provides a burst of energy counters and card draw potential. While there may be more efficient card draw options available, the potential for a game-changing play by casting exiled cards makes Wheel of Potential a fun and potentially powerful inclusion in decks that can consistently generate energy counters.
