Wall of Resurgence, Creature — wall, designed by Daniel Ljunggren first released in May, 2020 in the set Oath of the Gatewatch.
A deck that focuses on land-based strategies or ramping would benefit from using Wall of Resurgence, as it provides a strong defensive wall with the potential to turn a land into a powerful Elemental creature. However, there are potentially better cards for similar effects, such as Nissa, Who Shakes the World, which can generate multiple Elemental creatures and provide significant ramp. Whether Wall of Resurgence should see play depends on the specific strategy and synergy of the deck, but it can be a solid inclusion in the right context.

If you target a land that’s already a creature with Wall of Resurgence’s triggered ability, that land creature’s base power and toughness will become 0/0, overwriting its previous base power and toughness. Other effects that modify its power and/or toughness (including the new and any previously-existing +1/+1 counters) will continue to apply.
