Spellweaver Eternal would be a strong inclusion in a blue-based tempo or control deck that focuses on casting a high number of noncreature spells to trigger its prowess ability and apply pressure on the opponent with its afflict ability. While it is a solid card for its cost, there are potentially better options like Delver of Secrets or Snapcaster Mage that offer more versatility and impact. However, Spellweaver Eternal could still see play in decks looking to maximize spell triggers and maintain board presence.
