Soul Ransom, Enchantment — aura, designed by Steve Argyle first released in May, 2020 in the set Gatecrash and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
A control deck that focuses on card advantage and disruption would benefit from using Soul Ransom, as it allows you to take control of an opponent's creature and potentially draw cards by discarding. However, there are better options like Control Magic or Treachery that offer similar effects without the drawback of allowing opponents to sacrifice the enchantment. Soul Ransom may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limitations compared to other options available.

In most cases, you’ll enchant a creature controlled by an opponent, which will cause you to gain control of that creature. Any of your opponents can activate the last ability of Soul Ransom by discarding two cards. When that ability resolves, you’ll sacrifice Soul Ransom and draw two cards.
