Serene Steward, Creature — human cleric ally, designed by Magali Villeneuve first released in May, 2020 in the set Battle for Zendikar and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Serene Steward would be a great addition to a white-based lifegain deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a way to turn that lifegain into additional value by putting +1/+1 counters on creatures. While it may not be a standout card on its own, it can synergize well with other cards that focus on gaining life, such as Ajani's Pridemate or Archangel of Thune. Whether or not it should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergies of the deck, but it could definitely have a place in the right build.

In a Two-Headed Giant game, life gained by your teammate won’t cause the ability to trigger, even though it causes your team’s life total to increase.

The ability triggers just once for each life-gaining event, whether it’s 1 life from Drana’s Emissary or 7 life from Nissa’s Renewal.
