Prodigal Pyromancer, Creature — human wizard, designed by Jeremy Jarvis first released in May, 2020 in the set Planar Chaos and was printed exactly in 8 different ways.
Prodigal Pyromancer would be beneficial in a control or burn deck that focuses on dealing direct damage to creatures or players. While it can be a versatile tool for pinging small creatures or finishing off opponents, there are more efficient options available such as Goblin Fireslinger or Grim Lavamancer, which offer similar abilities at a lower cost or with additional benefits. Overall, Prodigal Pyromancer may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its higher mana cost and relatively low impact compared to other options available.
