This card, Pilfered Plans, would benefit a control or mill deck in Magic: The Gathering by providing card advantage while also contributing to the milling strategy. However, there are better cards that offer similar effects, such as Glimpse the Unthinkable, which mills ten cards for the same mana cost, making it a more efficient choice for a dedicated mill deck. Pilfered Plans could still see play in a budget or more casual deck, but for competitive play, other options may be more effective.
