Pang Tong, "Young Phoenix", Legendary creature — human advisor, designed by Li Tie first released in Jul, 1999 in the set Portal Three Kingdoms and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This card would be beneficial in a white weenie or aggro deck that focuses on small creatures and combat tricks, as it can provide a temporary boost to toughness to help protect key creatures during combat. However, there are better options available such as Brave the Elements or Gods Willing, which offer protection from various colors or spells, making them more versatile and impactful in a wider range of situations. While Pang Tong, Young Phoenix has its niche uses, it may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to the availability of more powerful and flexible options.
