A deck that focuses on generating a lot of mana quickly, such as a ramp or mana acceleration deck, would benefit from using Myr Prototype as it can grow in power each turn. However, there are better alternatives like Hangarback Walker or Walking Ballista which offer more versatility and value for their mana cost. Myr Prototype may struggle to see play in competitive decks due to its limited functionality and vulnerability to removal, but could be a fun and thematic inclusion in casual artifact-themed decks.
