A control deck that focuses on drawing cards and maintaining card advantage would benefit from including Mind Spring in its deck. While Mind Spring can be a powerful card draw engine in the late game, there are better options available such as Sphinx's Revelation which provides instant life gain in addition to card draw, making it a more versatile choice for control decks. However, if the deck is looking for additional card draw options or wants to capitalize on mana ramp strategies, Mind Spring could still see play as a supplemental card draw spell.
