Leech Collector // Bloodletting would fit best in an Orzhov (white-black) lifegain/drain (“aristocrats”) deck that can reliably gain life on each player’s turn—using cards like Soul Warden, Lunarch Veteran, Authority of the Consuls, or lifelink creatures—to repeatedly “prepare” it and drain opponents for 2 life at instant speed; it’s especially appealing in Commander where multiple opponents amplify the drain. However, compared to staples like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Dina, Soul Steeper, or Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, this card is less consistent because it only triggers the first time you gain life each turn and requires setup, whereas those alternatives trigger more freely or convert *all* lifegain into damage. In competitive formats it would likely be too slow and conditional, but in casual or Commander lifegain shells it could be a solid, repeatable drain engine—playable, though not strictly better than the established options.
