A deck that relies on casting high-cost spells or requires a lot of mana acceleration, such as control or ramp decks, would benefit from using Gilded Lotus. While Gilded Lotus is a solid mana rock, there are better options like Mana Crypt or Mana Vault for faster mana acceleration. However, Gilded Lotus can still see play in slower, more controlling decks where the ability to produce three mana of any one color can be crucial for casting powerful spells.
