This card, Eyes of the Beholder, would be beneficial in a control deck looking to efficiently remove a threat on the board. However, for a similar cost, the card Murder provides a more versatile and immediate removal option without the restriction of targeting only creatures. While Eyes of the Beholder may have situational use, it may not see widespread play due to its limited scope compared to other removal options available in Magic: the Gathering.
