Elven Lyre would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on buffing creatures and combat tricks, especially in a green or white aggro deck looking to push through damage quickly. However, there are better options available such as Rancor or Giant Growth which provide similar effects at a lower cost or with added benefits, making Elven Lyre less likely to see play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.
