Elusive Spellfist would be a great addition to a deck focused on casting a high number of noncreature spells, such as a Blue/Red spellslinger deck in Magic: the Gathering. Its ability to become unblockable and grow in power with each noncreature spell cast can quickly become a threat to the opponent. However, there are other cards like Delver of Secrets that may provide more consistent value in such a deck due to its ability to transform into a powerful flyer. Elusive Spellfist could still see play in specific aggressive spell-heavy strategies, but its effectiveness may depend on the overall synergy and game plan of the deck.
