Cage of Hands, Enchantment — aura, designed by Mark Tedin first released in Oct, 2004 in the set Champions of Kamigawa and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.
A control or tempo deck in Magic: the Gathering would benefit from using Cage of Hands as it can help stall aggressive strategies by preventing creatures from attacking or blocking. However, there are better options available such as Pacifism or Oblivion Ring which offer more permanent removal effects. Cage of Hands could see play in limited formats or budget decks where access to better removal options is limited.

The ability to return Cage of Hands to its owner’s hand can only be activated if Cage of Hands is on the battlefield. If Cage of Hands is no longer on the battlefield when the ability resolves, Cage of Hands remains in its new zone and isn’t returned to its owner’s hand.
