Brink of Disaster, Enchantment — aura, designed by Alex Horley-Orlandelli first released in Feb, 2010 in the set Worldwake and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
A deck focused on controlling the board and disrupting your opponent's resources would benefit from using Brink of Disaster as it can effectively remove key creatures or lands. However, there are better options like Darksteel Mutation which permanently removes a creature and prevents it from attacking or blocking. Brink of Disaster could see situational play in decks looking for specific removal options, but overall, there are more efficient choices available.

Brink of Disaster may target and may enchant a permanent that’s already tapped. It won’t do anything until the enchanted permanent changes from being untapped to being tapped.

If the enchanted permanent is tapped as a cost to activate a mana ability, the mana ability resolves immediately, then Brink of Disaster’s ability goes on the stack.
