About Because I Have Willed It

Because I Have Willed It, Ongoing scheme, designed by Adrian Majkrzak first released in May, 2020 in the set Archenemy: Nicol Bolas Schemes and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

A deck that focuses on casting a high volume of spells quickly, such as a spell-heavy control deck or a combo deck, would benefit most from using Because I Have Willed It in Magic: the Gathering. However, there are potentially better options available, such as Baral, Chief of Compliance, which provides a similar cost reduction effect consistently without the risk of being abandoned. Whether or not Because I Have Willed It should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergy within the deck, as well as the potential for opponents to easily trigger its abandonment condition.
