This card, Angelic Ascension, would be beneficial in a white control deck, as it provides removal for a threatening creature or planeswalker while also creating a powerful flying token. However, it may not be as efficient as some other removal spells like Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares, which permanently deal with the target without giving the opponent a benefit. While Angelic Ascension has its uses, it may not see widespread play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks due to its drawbacks compared to more efficient removal options.
