Wolf Pack, Creature — wolf, designed by Yang Jun Kwon first released in May, 1999 in the set Portal Three Kingdoms and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
This card, Wolf Pack, would benefit a deck focused on aggressive strategies and combat tricks, as it allows for unexpected and unblockable damage to be dealt. However, there are better options available such as Rogue's Passage, which provides a more consistent way to make creatures unblockable. Wolf Pack could still see play in a deck that specifically aims to take advantage of its unique ability, but it may not be a top choice in most competitive decks.

If blocked by a creature with banding, the defending player decides whether or not the damage is assigned “as though it weren’t blocked”.
04/27/18
You can decide to assign damage to the defending player or planeswalker even if the blocking creature has protection from green or damage preventing effects on it.
