About Teferi's Veil

Teferi's Veil, Enchantment, designed by Brom first released in Jun, 1997 in the set Weatherlight and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

A deck that focuses on aggressive creature strategies, such as a White Weenie or Mono-Red Aggro deck, would benefit from Teferi's Veil as it provides protection for attacking creatures by phasing them out at the end of combat. However, there are better alternatives like Whispersilk Cloak or Lightning Greaves that offer similar protection with additional benefits, making them more versatile and impactful in a wider range of situations. Overall, while Teferi's Veil can have its niche uses, it may not be the optimal choice for most competitive decks in Magic: The Gathering.

Rules

04/01/08

The “at end of combat” ability triggers after combat damage resolves. Creatures dealt lethal damage in combat won’t be saved this way.
