Syndicate Messenger, Creature — bird, designed by Viktor Titov first released in May, 2020 in the set Ravnica Allegiance and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
The Syndicate Messenger card would be beneficial in a white-black flying deck that focuses on generating value through creature tokens. While it provides a 2/3 flying body and creates a Spirit token upon death, there are potentially better options like Seraph of the Scales which offers more versatility and power. However, Syndicate Messenger could still see play in a budget or thematic deck that emphasizes afterlife mechanics and flying synergy.

Because blockers are chosen all at once, you can’t block with a creature with afterlife, wait for it to die, then block with the resulting Spirit tokens.
