About Spire Patrol

Spire Patrol, Creature — human soldier, designed by Dan Murayama Scott first released in May, 2020 in the set Aether Revolt and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.

This card, Spire Patrol, would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's board state and tempo. Its ability to tap down a creature upon entering the battlefield can help control the battlefield and limit the opponent's options. While there may be more powerful control cards available in Magic: the Gathering, such as Teferi, Time Raveler or Reflector Mage, Spire Patrol could still see play in certain deck builds that require additional creature control options.

Rules

02/09/17

Spire Patrol’s ability can target a creature that’s already tapped. That creature won’t untap during its controller’s next untap step.
