About Mystic Decree

Mystic Decree, World enchantment, designed by Liz Danforth first released in Oct, 1995 in the set Homelands and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

A control deck that aims to disrupt opponents relying on flying creatures or islandwalk abilities would benefit from using Mystic Decree. While Mystic Decree can be effective in certain matchups, there are potentially better options such as cards like Humility or Moat that provide more versatile and powerful effects in controlling the board. Whether Mystic Decree sees play would depend on the specific metagame and the prevalence of flying and islandwalk abilities in the opponent's decks.

Rules

10/01/08

This has the supertype world. When a world permanent enters the battlefield, any world permanents that were already on the battlefield are put into their owners’ graveyards. This is a state-based action called the “world rule.” The new world permanent stays on the battlefield. If two world permanents enter the battlefield at the same time, they’re both put into their owners’ graveyards.
