About Kaya the Inexorable

Kaya the Inexorable, Legendary planeswalker — kaya, designed by Tyler Jacobson first released in Dec, 2020 in the set Kaldheim and was printed exactly in 6 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's a key card in 5 combos.

Kaya the Inexorable would be a strong addition to a control deck that focuses on recurring creatures and disrupting the opponent's board. The ability to protect a creature with a ghostform counter and generate flying Spirit tokens upon its death provides resilience, while the ability to exile nonland permanents offers valuable removal. While there may be other planeswalkers with more immediate impact or versatility, Kaya's ability to generate card advantage and enable powerful plays with the emblem makes her a solid choice for decks looking to grind out value over the long game.

If the spell has in its mana cost, you must choose 0 as the value of X.

02/05/21

If you own a face-down card in exile, Kaya’s emblem will let you cast it only if you can look at the card (and only if it’s legendary). If you aren’t allowed to look at the card, you can’t cast it, even if you know it’s legendary.

The ghostform counter added by the first ability doesn’t have any functional importance. It’s there to remind you of the ability the creature gains. Even if that counter is removed from the creature, the triggered ability it gains will still work.
