Illusory Angel, Creature — angel illusion, designed by Allen Williams first released in May, 2020 in the set Planechase 2012 and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
Illusory Angel would benefit a tempo or spell-heavy blue deck that aims to cast multiple spells in a turn to take advantage of its discounted cost and flying ability. However, there are potentially better cards for this type of deck, such as Delver of Secrets, which provides an early flying threat for only 1 mana, or Snapcaster Mage, which can provide additional value by flashing back spells from the graveyard. Whether Illusory Angel should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergies within the deck.

It doesn’t matter whether the other spell resolved. It could have been countered or, if you’ve somehow cast Illusory Angel as though it had flash, it could still be on the stack.
