A deck focused on graveyard recursion and green permanents would benefit from including Hatchery Spider, as it offers potential for ramp and board presence. While there may be more efficient cards for similar effects, such as Genesis Hydra or Greenwarden of Murasa, Hatchery Spider could still see play in a deck looking to capitalize on creature cards in the graveyard and green permanents for a midrange strategy.
