Frostwind Invoker, Creature — merfolk wizard, designed by Svetlin Velinov first released in May, 2020 in the set Rise of the Eldrazi.
This Frostwind Invoker card would be a great addition to a blue-based control or tempo deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides a strong flying threat and the ability to grant flying to other creatures for a potential game-ending attack. However, for a more competitive deck, cards like Sower of Temptation or Vendilion Clique may offer more impactful abilities and stats for a similar mana cost, making them better choices in most cases. Frostwind Invoker could still see play in more casual or budget decks looking to capitalize on its flying abilities.
