Forgotten Ancient, Creature — elemental, designed by Mark Tedin first released in May, 2020 in the set Scourge and was printed exactly in 21 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
A deck focused on ramping up mana quickly and casting multiple spells per turn, such as a green ramp deck or a spell-slinging deck, would benefit from using Forgotten Ancient. While it can grow quickly with +1/+1 counters, there are other cards like Hardened Scales or Doubling Season that can provide similar benefits more efficiently. Forgotten Ancient could see play in casual or budget decks, but may not be competitive in higher-level play due to its slower growth compared to other options.

It does not get counters for copies of spells (as with Storm), just for spells that are actually cast.
