Eternal Dragon, Creature — dragon spirit, designed by Adam Rex first released in Jun, 2002 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 10 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Premodern.
A white control deck with a focus on recurring threats and mana efficiency would benefit from including Eternal Dragon, as it provides a flying threat that can be easily brought back from the graveyard and can help fix mana with its Plainscycling ability. While there may be more powerful options available, such as Sun Titan for a similar mana cost, Eternal Dragon's unique abilities make it a solid choice for decks looking for resilience and card advantage, making it worth considering for inclusion in certain strategies.

Plainscycling is an activated ability. Effects that interact with activated abilities (such as Stifle or Rings of Brighthearth) will interact with Plainscycling. Effects that interact with spells (such as Remove Soul or Faerie Tauntings) will not.

Unlike the normal cycling ability, Plainscycling doesn’t allow you to draw a card. Instead, it lets you search your library for a Plains card. After you find a Plains card in your library, you reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle your library.
