About Dragonstorm

Dragonstorm, Sorcery, designed by Kev Walker first released in May, 2003 in the set Scourge and was printed exactly in 6 different ways.

Dragonstorm is a powerful card that would benefit a deck focused on ramping up mana quickly and casting multiple spells in a turn, such as a red-green ramp deck or a storm combo deck. While Dragonstorm can be a game-winning play if executed correctly, it is a high-cost card that requires specific setup and may not always be the most efficient choice. Other cards like Through the Breach or Sneak Attack offer similar effects with lower mana costs and easier conditions to meet, making them potentially better options depending on the deck's strategy and playstyle. Dragonstorm could see play in specific combo decks looking to cheat out multiple dragons at once, but its viability may vary depending on the overall deck composition and meta.

Rules

06/07/13

A copy of a spell can be countered like any other spell, but it must be countered individually. Countering a spell with storm won’t affect the copies.

06/07/13

The copies are put directly onto the stack. They aren’t cast and won’t be counted by other spells with storm cast later in the turn.
