A control deck that aims to draw and hold onto a large number of cards would benefit from using Decanter of Endless Water due to the unlimited hand size it provides. However, there are better cards such as Reliquary Tower which also allows for no maximum hand size without the need to tap for mana. Decanter of Endless Water may not see play in competitive decks due to its higher cost and the availability of more efficient alternatives.
