About Courier's Capsule

Courier's Capsule, Artifact, designed by Andrew Murray first released in Oct, 2008 in the set Shards of Alara.

This card would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on card advantage and drawing into key pieces. While Courier's Capsule provides a decent card draw option for its cost, there are better alternatives like Opt or Serum Visions that offer immediate card selection without the need for additional mana investment or sacrificing the artifact. However, in a budget deck or in a specific strategy that benefits from artifact synergies, Courier's Capsule could still see play as a budget-friendly option for card draw.

The only difference between a colored artifact and a colorless artifact is, obviously, its color. Unlike most artifacts, a colored artifact requires colored mana to cast. Also unlike most artifacts, a colored artifact has a color in all zones. It will interact with cards that care about color. Other than that, a colored artifact behaves just like any other artifact. It will interact as normal with any card that cares about artifacts, such as Shatter or Arcbound Ravager.
